CorrCAD: - CorrCAD is the latest addition to SES’ powerful software packages. Its main function is to determine the degree of corrosion control provided by a system. Typical application of CorrCAD for corrosion control includes impressed cathodic current protection systems (ICCP) and use of sacrificial anodes in anodic protection systems, where anodic current is impressed on corroding material to enforce passivation.

Utility tools: ABB announces the release of Substation Explorer, a new tool that allows customers to enter known parameters for their high voltage systems into a program that outputs multiple conceptual layouts and suggests the most suitable solution for the application.
The ABB Substation Explorer generates the single line diagrams, 3-Dimensional layouts and a high level Bill of Material for the various solutions. Simply submit a selected design and an ABB representative will contact the customer to discuss the project and help navigate the various options or provide a quick budget estimate.
